THERE IS NOTHING BETTER THAN SEEING A WELL-DRESSED MAN!

Do you aspire to be like James Bond or David Beckham? When you see them, do you think, “I would like to look and be like that”? What do you admire about them? Is it their sophistication, charm, or impeccable style that showcases their personality—an air of coolness, confidence, and debonair presence? You can tell when a man has it when he looks just as good in a tailored suit as in a casual outfit, like jeans, a t-shirt, a leather jacket, and Chelsea boots, all while sporting classy sunglasses.

As we all know, these two men have a skill in the way they walk, talk, and act that draws attention from both men and women.  While some men naturally know how to dress well, many could benefit from guidance in grooming and education on how to look good.  So, if you feel that you have no idea how to dress and are at a stage in your life where you want or need to make a difference with your image, I am here to help.

Here, we see Paul in the photo before, wearing classic clothing: a polo shirt, chinos, and Oxford shoes. Although these are a must in our wardrobes, they don’t quite work well together. Paul needed some help modernising his look, making the best of his proportions, understanding the colours that work for his skin tone, and looking more age-appropriate.

Did you know that a well-dressed man often attracts attention and invites conversation, creating opportunities for connection? People are naturally drawn to those who appear put-together, making it easier for men to build rapport and navigate social situations. This positive engagement can lead to richer relationships, both personally and professionally, as first impressions matter in forming lasting connections.

The process

  • We chat over the phone or Zoom to determine where you struggle with your image and end goals.  After listening, I will suggest a bespoke package that works for you.
  • Once we’ve agreed to embark on this journey together and the deposit has been paid, the exciting part begins.  We’ll ask you to complete some homework, which will help us better understand who you are, your desired vision, and your future goals.
  • We will provide a style workbook, your future bible. Within this, we will discover your style preference, body shape, proportions, scale, fabrics, cuts, necklines, and facial features, which are personal to you. We will also touch on some special rules that will help you shop confidently, know what works, what doesn’t, and why, and give you ideas on where to shop.
  • The good thing is you don’t have to do this alone. If you want extra support, we provide extra sessions to help you weed out the clothes that don’t work for you, find those amazing pieces you need with a shopping trip, and show you how to put it all together.
  • A mentoring service is also available online or face-to-face. It covers anything you want help with regarding your styling session and future purchases. We even provide advice on hairstyles, glasses, colour, self-image, and special occasion outfits.

Improving your image is a gradual process; it takes time to achieve your goals. Think of it like learning to play the drums: you start by understanding the kit, then you practice with the drumsticks before even looking at sheet music.

Similarly, your image evolves based on how you want to be perceived. For instance, do you want to maintain the same appearance you had in university? Probably not—it’s unlikely that would be well-received professionally! Paul returned a few years later and wanted to up his game professionally. Having a high-profile job, he wanted to honour and implement his values within his image. So, my job was to show him how to connect those very important values with colour, style, and communication.
