A LADIES STYLE consultation will provide you with the foundations on how to achieve a successful capsule wardrobe. To understand your unique style, body shape, proportions and scale, is key to help you make those important decisions when shopping for garments.
We all have a habit of wanting to know everything now! How many times women contact me, wanting to help them sort their wardrobe and put outfits together. Could you play grade 8 on a piano straight away? Probably not, you would start by learning the keys and move on to reading music. Well, styling is the same. It is a process that takes time to learn. When you get there, the feeling is unbelievable!
People are fascinating, and love to hear their stories. My passion is to discover who you are, to bring out your wonderful personality and gifts, and communicate this on the outside.Without the awareness will result in mistakes, such as, having too many clothes, feeling overwhelmed, lacking in confidence and low self-image. Women want to look good, to ooze confidence and know what suits them. To strut down the street, catch themselves in the shop window, and say ‘I’m looking good’!
We will provide a style work book, being your future bible. Within this, we will discover your style preference, your body shape, proportions, scale, fabrics, cuts, necklines, and your facial features, that is personal to you. We will also, touch on some special rules that will help you to shop with confidence, knowing what works, what doesn’t, and why, and give you ideas on where to shop.
A bonus within the style consultation, is having a pocket size style wallet with all the garments and fabrics that work for your shape, as well as a reminder of your rules. Perfect to fit in your handbag whilst you shop. The good thing is, you don’t have to do this alone. If you want some extra support, we can help you weed out the clothes that don’t work for you, find those amazing pieces that you need, and show you how to put it all together.
A mentoring service is also available online or face-to-face, covering anything you would like help with regarding your styling session and future purchases. We even provide advice on hairstyles, glasses, colour, self-image, mother of bride, and special occasion outfits.

After an initial Zoom call, we will send you some homework to complete to learn all about your big day and your needs.
The ‘mother-of-the-bride’ styling consultation will take place at my studio in Exeter. To begin, we will assess the colour of your skin tone, body shape, proportions, scale, and facial features. After gathering this information, we will create a personalised document via Canva that recommends what colours and dress styles are best suited to you. We will also suggest the appropriate fabrics, cuts, and make-up colours that complement your skin tone and advise you on the size and shape of jewellery that will flatter you. As everyone is unique, we will provide you with specific guidelines that cater to your individual needs.
The face-to-face workshop will be a collaboration where we both can enjoy coming up with some fab ideas from Pinterest, pictures, or drawings to make this a fun experience.
The online session will be the same through a series of emails and calls via Zoom.
Whatever consultation you choose, you will go away feeling more confident, knowing that you have valuable information that will save you time and money.
